Does applying to a school that you were rejected from initially a second time as a transfer affect your admission chances?

if done right NO. big no.

I don’t think so…unless the university encourages that you reapply only after you have two years worth of credits beneath your belt, yet you apply for sophmore transfer.

my traditional counterexample - the kid who had 2.0 in HS and 1250+ on the SAT applied three times. Before the 3rd he got like 1430 or sth on the SAT. He got in. His GPA wasn’t even 4.0 in college.

martini what school was this kid applying to? whats the point of taking SAT’s after high school anyway? of course your score is going to improve

If you’re applying at a really competitive school, you’ll need an SAT close to or even above the school’s average.

Harvard, I forgot to say.

christ, he got into harvard? What college did he go to before that if you dont mind me asking
