I am finishing up my application to USC right now and I am just going to include all of the religion classes that I took at my high school on the application. But I am totally stressing right now because I think I may have been given a D+ in my relgion class this semester (first semester senior year) and I dont know if that will totally kill my chances or what? How do I know if they will even count the class?

they won’t. it’s not a core curriculum class.

USC won’t factor the grade into you admission decision unless you submit a midyear report. It is not required for many applicants; however, they do request it of some applicants. If they do that, make sure to include an explanation for why you go that grade.

phew, I called USC, and apparently they only count SOME religion classes and that isnt one of them, still though, how do you know if you need to submit a mid year report?
