Small Dilemma

<p>In AP Stats, I have something like an 89%, in order to get an A- for the semester I need to get about a 95% on the final. This would be extremely difficult, but I have the option of getting every single question wrong for 100% on the final (not easy in it self but probably easier than getting 100% the normal way). However, if I happen to get a question right, and end up getting 1 question right on the whole test, my grade will reflect that and I’ll end up with a C. </p>

<p>Now my question is, which would have more of an impact on admissions for me, getting a 4.0 1st semester of senior year, or getting a 3.6 with a C in Stats? Obviously, one would be a positive effect, and the other negative.</p>

<p>Wow, that’s a weird grading system. Really weird. It makes the test so much about strategy and so little about knowing the material…</p>

<p>Depending on the schools/programs you’re applying to, avoiding a C is probably pretty important.</p>
