SAT- 2280 (800M, 760CR, 720W)
SAT II- 770 US, 740 Bio, 700 Math IC
GPA- 3.95UW, 3.75W
Class Rank- Top 3-5%
ECs- lots of research stuff (about to get published) and 300+ hours of community service along with three leadership positions and 5 total clubs.

SAT-- 2250 (720m 770v 760w)
SAT II-- 720 US 750 Math 2c, 700 Chem
GPA-- ~3.6 uw, but i go to a very competitive private school. also they don’t calculate our gpa or rank, and i have a huge upward trend so i think this will be made more clear.
EC’s-- lots of political involvement

hook: i am a legacy and i went to penn to have an interview at their alumni relations office… of course, i may have hurt myself because i didn’t apply early. also, they LOVE my school… like 21 people applied last year and 9 people got in, and yeah 20 people have gone there in the past 4 years, so that is ~5 per class.

and no penn isn’t my first choice. i wish it was though, because of all my reach schools it is the one i have the best shot at.

dont forget intended major, i think they take this into account.

oops intended major: int’l relations. which is why penn isn’t my first choice. but in my interview i managed to talk about how i wanted to be in the “birthplace of american democracy.” lol it was cheesy but i brought it up in my why penn essay too :P
