<p>Do colleges even obtain proof of any extra-curricular activities a student list in their application? I was wondering would it be fair for me to list school newspaper for 9th grade when i submit one or two stories/poems. In 10th grade i got involved and became a staff Reporter/Columnist. Should i list my contributions to the newspaper in 9th grade?</p>

<p>u submitted something- that’s not stretching. lol., i thought u were gonna say like you were a member of the newspaper and then u put asst editor/editor on it, then i’d be like eh…</p>
<p>Haha, I was wondering something along these lines too. If, per se, I attended one-two meetings throughout the year for say, a community service club, and did a few minor errands for them (post flyers, the like), would that still be counted as “Red Cross Club - 10th”?</p>
<p>i know its sooo confusing. i mean its not that big of a deal, but if the difference is getting into your dream school, then well its worth the effort.</p>
