Summer internship/research programs that end before august?

<p>Unfortunately, my grandparents are having their anniversary at the beggining of august, and all the internship and research programs I had planned on applying for I cant do now since most of them end around aug 11. Does anyone know of any that might end sooner?</p>

<p>you should try for some kind of commuter program.</p>

<p>On your apps for internships, write a note about how important the internship is to you, about how much you really want to work there … and then say you’ll have to leave on whatever date because of your grandparent’s anniversary. It’s worth a shot. Like my grandmother used to say “You’ll never know until you ask!”</p>
