think ill get in?

<p>Hey i just wanna say thanks for even opening this thread. you guys are too cool. now that ive kissed ass, i was wondering if anyone could tell me my chances of getting into any programs, im a senior and not really great at any one thing, but im hoping maybe im well rounded enough.</p>

<p>Currently taking Calculus 3 and Differential Equations (graduate level) through my high school.</p>

<p>What I can remember:
National Honor Society 11, 12 (Vice President School)
Direct Action Community Service 9, 10, 11, 12 (Secretary)
Hospital Volunteer 9, 10, 11, 12 (1000+ hours)
Students Against Destructive Decisions 9, 10, 11, 12
Community Resource Center Tutor (1st - 6th graders) 10, 11, 12
Community Resource Center Summer Camp Mentor 10, 11, 12
Misc. Volunteer American Cancer Society 10, 11, 12
Math Team 9, 10, 11, 12 (captain of 8-person team (went to state) 11)

<p>(I think I can get a few good recomendations and hopefully a kickass essay.)</p>

<p>I always wanted to do more but I never really got the chance because I work a lot as a caddie over the summer and have a job as a sales associate at TCF Bank.</p>

<p>Anyways, I really wanna get into Boston University. If you have any words of wisdom or you just wanna make fun of me because I suck compared to you, that would be just super. Thanks again.</p>

<p>Make sure you have a 700+ for each section of the new SAT as well as 700+ for SAT II chemistry (you're done with Math IIC!). You're EC's look good, especially since you have medical-related activites. Other than that, you're main emphasis should be on your essay and definitely interview (I am beginning to think that an excellant interview will be able to make up for a mediocre EC record). Niothing much you can do with recommendations though, since you don't write them.</p>

<p>Here are what I think the most important factors for admission:
1)Standardized test scores
2) GPA/class rank
5) Extra-cirriculars</p>

<p>I think EC's are more important for ivy league colleges, right?</p>
