Transfer Credit

from reading past posts regarding credit trasfer, it was clear that different colleges accept different amount of credits. having said that, what colleges are notorious for not accepting credits as transferable?

You bring up a great point as many students are shocked to learn that they do not end up with the same standing as the school that they transferred from.

Upenn has a rep for being hard on transfer credit, and I don’t personally know of other schools. Of course many schools will not accept many AP credits. Typically at least half of the major credits must be from the school that you transfer to. It is also common to have a residency requirement (e.g. the last 45 credits must be from the school that you transfer to).
