URGENT!!I need to choose colleges really quickly!help..please!!

Hello, everyone!
First of all, I am an international student...
I just wanted to ask for any advice regarding some good schools I should apply to. I want to major in psychology. I want to go to a small liberal arts school, and I need a substantial amount of financial aid, the maximum I can afford to pay is 8 K per year (pretty bad uh:].
Here are my stats:
SAT 1 - 1500 (800M, 700V)
SAT2- Math 1c 800
Math 2c 800
not planning on taking any more SAT2s
TOEFL 293/300
GPA 3.98/4.00
extracurriculars ; decent, but nothing outsanding
Good recs, including one from a summer job
decent essays

I have time by tomorrow to decide where I am going to apply to...so I would appreciate fast responses.
Ok, I am looking forward to what you have to say....
thank you guys!
Please...tell me of some safety schools where I have good chances of being admitted with sufficient financial aid!!

you might look at Reed college in portland oregon
I know they give aid to internationals
and it is an academically challenging schools that would suit your stats

TOFEL paper score min is 600
computer min TOFEL 250
computer average 273

At most of the small LACs, you will need a third SAT 2.

I don't know about aid for internationals at many of the LACs.

I do know, however, that very strong schools that are slightly less prestigious (the ones that are regionally well known rather than nationally well known) often give merit aid and your scores would definitely put you in the merit aid catagory if internationals are eligible for their merit aid.

I know Lawrence & Grinnell are two that have put an emphasis on international kids. Safety/merit aid possibilities: Allegheny, Dickinson, Beloit, Rhodes. Other regionally well known schools: Whitman, Occidental, Pitzer. If you are female, consider the womens' colleges, Smith, Mt. Holyoke, Wellesley, Bryn Mawr.

Go to the LAC threads for more info, there are literally dozens and dozens of great schools!! It would help if you narrowed down what you are looking for:

(1) Social atmosphere/ "feel" of campus (frats? conservative/liberal? outdoorsy? urban? etc...)
(2) Region of country
(3) Extra curricular passions
(4) possible departments to major in
(5) Your country of origin (might help/ hurt at certain places)

You must apply to Williams!! Great school ands great financial aid. You have a good shot at it.

Furman University

thank you guys...you are great so far....
your comments were helpful
do you know of some less competitive school that still gives aid to internationals? I just need a sure back-up on my list....

Might look at Holy Cross-near Boston or Bucknell University.
