What are my chances....FREAKING OUT :)

So I am a senior in high school, and I am freaking out about being accepted to college. The school I want to go to the most (like A LOT) is New York University. I just do not know if I am going to to get in, and it worries me. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are my stats and stuff:

SAT: CR - 500 Math - 600 Writing - 570 Total: 1670
ACT: 22
Weighted GPA: 4.0
Unwieghted GPA: 3.86
Class Rank: 13/148
Only 750 students in my high school; Hispanic; First generation; semi-low income; Did cross country, soccer, tennis; did the drama productions; active at church....i think this stuff matters?

I applied for the Music Technology major. I am pretty diverse when it comes to the arts; I sing, I can play instruments; I write songs, I can act, I can dance a little. I love music, but i do not think I am good enough to make it a profession, so I thought what better way to life of music then to produce it. SO NYU is my TOP choice and I really hope to get in.

Your EC's are not that special. You are competing with people who have performed at Carnegie Hall and/or Kimmel Center, won Intel awards, published in journals, and have over 400 hours of community service. However, great GPA and class rank. Congrats on that. Your SAT score needs improvement. You can still register late for the December 3 SAT.
Good luck, I am applying to NYU A's well.

...Rain, stop ****ing up other people's threads if you're just going to copy and paste the same thing over and over again. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1241725-chance-me-ivys.html for reference

@OP: NYU is a bit of a reach, especially with your SAT and gpa. I think that you may have an ok chance if your essays/teacher recs/etc are good though. You should retake your SAT to try and at least get 1900+. And don't listen to Rain. Not everybody going to these schools have performed at Carnegie Hall/Kimmel Center, won Intel awards (who wins several anyways), published in journals, and have 400 hours of community service. I'm applying to higher ranked schools than you and I don't have any of those :)

MAKE SURE YOU RETAKE THE SAT. Its the only thing stopping you from getting into NYU.
