You stats are low for GTech; it is a reach although probably still worth a shot. Things to be aware of:

GTech does not consider race as a factor in admission. Also, it evaluates in-state and out-of-state applicants the same.

The actual GPA that is considered for admission is determined by GTech as follows: (a) you take grades of only core college prep courses -- math, lab science, English, foreign language, and social studies -- and ignore all other grades; (b) each AP or honors course in that group for which you have a B or higher adds an additional .5 to the grade in that course, e.g., a B which is normally a 3 becomes a 3.5 (not a 4 like under many high school systems); C's or lower in such courses get no added weight.

The only scores from the ACT it considers for admission are your English and Math scores; reading, science and composite are ignored.

hey, will my chances be reduced if i just got my scores, and scored an 1140, (600, 540 verbal. ??? please answer

come on guys, help me out

can somebody help out. please. you all always respond to the nyu, cornell colleges. and people who have 6.0 and 1600 SAT SCORES

Hello, somebody answer please. please

Listen, colleges do not care if your score decreases, they only care about the highest composite score that you get (besides I figure they mostly just care about the highest because that is the stat that gets recorded in their school profile). So do not fret. Take a chill pill and relax, especially if you really want to get in. If you do not get accepted the first time, still, relax. I had a friend last year get denied admission, she fought the decision and had it repealed and is now happily attending georgia tech. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Oh, and make sure your application is stellar the first time around . . . do not make stupid errors on your app, and you have a shot. Afterall, it is your chance to impress them and shine. Also, if an interview is an option, consider it. If you make a good impression it could improve your chances.
