<p>Im an american citizen attending high school in Kuwait because my father is Kuwaiti. The givernment requires me to take Arabic courses every year and my Arabic skills are noticeably lacking. Without these courses factored into my GPA it would be 4.02, with them it is a 3.70. I really dont want this to affect my chances of getting into College. I am forced to take these classes and I have no control over them. What should I do?</p>
<p>i wouldnt worry to much, because yes colleges look at your gpa, but they also look at your transcript as a whole. so they will see that your only grades that are poor, even though they cannot be that poor since they only made your gpa a 3.7, are your arabaic course grades and not your other courses. are you taking other languages, such as, english (literature), spanish, french, italian, etc.?</p>
<p>im taking spanish and 4 years of english. i have taken 4 years of arabic.</p>
