When do you take Sat2Chem if you're in APChem?

When do you take Sat2Chem if you're in APChem?

When's the best time to take it? after 1st semester? after 2nd semester?

Feel free to include all factors you can think of.

Depends what grade you're in - If you're a senior, you probably need to take it ASAP (unless you're taking it only for placement or credit, not for admissions). Otherwise, I would wait till the end of the course - the June testing. Whatever preparation you do in class for the AP exam will be a really good start to studying for the SAT II. Some people's Chem I class is enough for the SAT II but if you're already in AP, I would wait till the course was over (or nearing completion). Look at this thread for more info on the SAT II Chem - http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=2146

I took AP Chem junior year, then both the SAT II and AP exam in May (750 and 5).

i took it 2nd month of it
im a junior
i have an A- in chem AP (which is like an A+++++ in anyother class @ my school)
i got a 760
dint improve much really - 750 in chem honors
its cuz the test was hard (that somehow is a big factor on this test)
i have gotten scores from 690-800 within 2 week period
