Temple Theatre vs. BFA programs

I've spent the past few months auditioning for various BFA acting programs (NYU, BU, Emerson, DePaul, to name a few). I also applied to some BA programs, Temple being one of them. Last spring I visited Temple and sat in on a few classes. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of Temple, and Philadelphia, but does anybody here know the strength of Temple's program? I've heard that some courses require an audition, but I don't know if that's true.
I was accepted into Emerson's acting program last week. If Temple's program is good and I can save some money, I really wouldn't mind getting a BA.
