How long does it take to receive a decision after submitting an application? I applied to liberal arts majors as my first and second choice

You should have received an email within a few days of applying to set up your net ID. Once you do that, you can check your status. Do that. Sometimes there are errors and things don't get get added to your file and you will never know if you do not keep checking your status and make sure it is all showing up. If it doesn't you need to call. My daughter's essay's failed to upload to her account when she applied last year. We would never have know if she had not been vigilant about checking the status. When it kept showing that was still needed, she called and was told of the upload failure so she resubmitted them. Do not wait and think they will notify you of a problem. The onus is on your to keep tabs of your stuff by checking my status.

If everything is in order, they have rolling admissions, and will send out blocks acceptances in blocks. If you are not an auto admit, it may be after Dec. 1, after the review, that you get notified.

    Good Luck
