University of Houston: Admission and Acceptance

Ok so here's the deal: I am a senior in a Texas high school who is planning on attending college at the University of Houston Main Campus. I live in a small city (not that small though). I am in the top ten percent of my class, with a GPA of 96.8 On my SAT, I made a 950. Looking at UH's requirements, they allow the top ten rule, but those who don't, have to follow the SAT score minimum of at least 1050 after March 2017. I have a good high school transcript, as I took many pre-AP and AP classes (that I have credit for a few), I participated in many clubs and school activities, and volunteered many times in high school. And I have 4 letters of recent going into my application. I am basically wondering if my chances of getting acceptance are hindered due to my low SAT score? Please help!!!!!!!
