Summer Housing

It looks like I need to take classes to stay at TAMU during summer, but has anyone had any experience with this?

For example, how many credits do I need to take?

Also, if I am not taking classes at TAMU, any suggestions on how I can find a place to stay during the summer with basic amenities provided already (such as desk, chair, etc.) ?

Thanks
