So I'm considering transferring in a semester or two from Northern Michigan University. My college stats are strong: 3.88 GPA (just my Freshman year, I'm going to keep this up and probably transfer after next year), I won an award for an English paper, I'll be getting involved in clubs this coming year. I've got two internships on my resume, one in my field (International Relations) that's actually in India.
..And then there's my high school stats. My ACT is strong enough at a 29, but my GPA is LOW...2.6. High school I didn't give a damn about and I'm really hoping it's not going to come back to haunt me. Obviously I can't change anything now, but how much will this factor into me getting into a top tier school?
