Pros and cons for Northwestern v UMich Transfer?

I have been trying to make a decision the past few days about whether or not I should transfer to Umich or Northwestern. Basically the size and resources michigan offers for transfer students worries me and I am unsure how easy it would be to acclimate to the university since I don't know anyone however their social scene and academic system (which would help me explore since idk what I want to major in) seems like it may be better in the long run. Northwestern is much more comfortable in terms of size and transfer resources to me however I feel unsure about the large number of people in greek life and the social life in general (which I have heard is not the best) as well as the separation of the schools. I may be getting some of this wrong since I have been to neither of these schools - can anyone offer any insight/pros or cons for specifically transferring to either of these schools? Thank you!

Big Greek life at UMich too.

What are you looking for in terms of social life?

@PurpleTitan Yes I have heard that too but I've heard it is easier for those not in Greek Life to find their way at michigan. Definitely looking for fun and to have somewhere to go on the weekends - I know they both probably have this but have heard different things concerning what it is like at NU when you're not in Greek Life

I would not base a decision off of rumors.

Non-Greeks have plenty of fun at NU.
