I got a D in a class at one state university, when I enroll at a UC next fall can I retake this class to replace my D? I'm looking at ucla/ucsb/ucsd. Or will they say since I got my D at a non UC I can't replace it?

Sorry for not posting on topic...but what is a UC?

I'm sure you can retake it -- and you should if it is part of you core subjects. If it is an irrelevant elective, then you might be better off taking something you enjoy.

BTW, my son took a course in his major for which he had AP credit. He was really happy that he did.

UC stands for University of California.
