Hey, I wrote sometime back as well, and was wondering if people had any more opinions on this.
I'm an International Student(indian) in the University of Wisconsin-Madison, wanting to major in International Affairs and Security studies and Philosophy. I got a Cum GPA of 2.9, my first semester was in Fall 2003 and my second semester was Fall 2004, my first sem GPA was a 2.0 and last fall I got a 3.67 on a heavy academic courseload. I tool Spring in 2004 off due to my bad grades and take time to think about life and work etc.
Well, I am a Student Leader on Campus, representing ALL the international Students in a small board which advises the Dead of Students on all issues regarding the University and students. I'm on a first name basis with her, that in a college of more than 40000 students, and I got a real good and personal recommendation from her for the transfer application in which she calls me exceptional and important etc blah(Not being swollen headed just giving the facts of the Reco). Likewise, I got strong letters of Rec from lots of professors and my advisors etc.
I got a whole bunch of extracurriculars as I am one of the more involved Student Government members, and I'm fluent in more than 4 languages.
SAT Scores 1280, SAT II's I got 660 MAth 1 c, 650 Biology. 600 writing.
I got my essay get shaped and formed from an Alum of Wellesley College, who conducts interviews for students and stuff.
What do you think are my chances at Tufts as a Transfer Applicant? As well as Georgetown?
