How do i get into Caltech?

There are currently 3 schools I'm really looking at: UcB, Nyu, and Cal tech. Im currently doing all the prerequisite's to try and get into UcB Haase(and i feel like ill probably wind up there), but my Dream School is Cal tech. So i was curious as to how hard its going to be to try and transfer there from a ccc or if that's even possible (i have read there websites info on transfer admissions).

PS: if anyone here has transferred there successfully please tell me your story.

Hi, I'm replying to you because one of my best friends is a freshman at Caltech and I know a lot about how he got there. His is a "computer nerd" who ran our boarding school's tech service. His first choice was MIT, but sadly, he was rejected. He actually got into UPenn, but turned it down for CalTech. He had almost perfect Sats, cumlaude society, top 5 in our class, sky high GPA, and just about all academic honors that the school offered. I don't know about transferring in, but it's such a difficult school to gain admission to in the first place that the transfer rates are probably very low.

Caltech has a test that transfers must take. Beware of how hard it is to get into Haas for anyone not already within Cal.

If you're not living in California, Berkeley is a nightmare to get into

Even if you live in CA, Haas as a transfer is very difficult to get into. They reject most CCC 4.0s.

Here are the Caltech testing requirements:

And for NYU, do you need aid? If yes, not a good choice.
