ED2 Athlete Chances

I have applied ED2 to Tufts, and have a 2180 on the SAT and both SAT2s in the 700s. I know my score is on the lower end of the average range at Tufts, but does a tip from a coach help? Or does it have to be recruitment to make a significant impact? Thank you!

What is your GPA? Honestly, you really should just ask the coach about your situation. If the coach is interested, he/she will get pre-read from admissions and you will know where you stand. My Tufts athlete was admitted with a 3.7 and an ACT 30. He was tipped by the coach and had a favorable preread

Did you get in? I'm rooting for you, I was a in your boat for ED, but I got in. I don't know how much of a role my sports coach played, but maybe it helped. I had a 2090 SAT and a 3.95/4 GPA. So I think you would be okay.
