Do classes fill up fast like they do during the regular quarter?

I've never signed up for one myself, but according to my friend, yes. He had to take his summer calc class at Foothill because De Anza's courses all filled up like crazy.

I took a history of western civ class last summer. It filled up fast with lower-division students from 4-year schools. Sign up as quickly as you can.

I wish I had seen this thread. #2 on WL for Child Development.

Anyone when the bulk of students reg day was? I'm a 4 year college student living in the area for the summer and my reg time was on 5/28.
I'm hoping some people don't pay within the 5 day period so that spots open up :).

Any other new/4 year students doing classes at De Anza?
