In a quandry

Hi everyone- I'm making this post in earnest and with the hope that someone knowledgeable might have some advice in regards to my situation. I don't need a litany- just some well-intentioned and intelligent feedback. I applied to several UC campuses for the fall 2010 quarter/semester, and foolishly decided to omit transcripts from one community college campus I attended in the spring of 2007. It was for one semester only, but I did not drop my courses and the transcript by all accounts exists (as a detriment to my overall academic record). I feared that it would harm my chances for admission to the more competitive campuses (namely UC Berkeley and UCLA), and figured that the amount of time that had elapsed between then and now would negate its importance (time heals all wounds, right?). After reading up a bit on the matter, I have become more concerned about the possibility of this omission being grounds for serious reconsideration of admission. I am a good student and would be devastated if an old stain on my record came back to effectively ruin my chances at UC admission, and my main concern is remedying any potential problem before it becomes a more serious issue. If anyone has been in a similar situation or has constructive and informed feedback, I would be very grateful for you help. Cheers

You are required to report all classes you should contact the U.C you applied to right away and inform them because if they do accept you they will find out and will rescind right away if you withheld .

Another thing you can try and do is get academic renewal on those classes you took.

It might not ruin your chances but by withholding the information it will so honesty is always the best policy inform the U.C's right away

ya... i think i would be more scared that i would get accepted than rescind my admittance, than that they wouldn't admit me because of some classes i took a while ago that i'm not proud of.

    Good luck!!!
