Student following British curriculum that hasn't taken 4 years of English

I've been looking at some requirements, such as that of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I've noticed that some schools require 3+ years of English. From grade 9/year 10, I've only taken 2 years of English language and English literature for my IGCSEs. I haven't taken English lit for my A-levels because that isn't specific to my course.

How will they look at my application?
