Sending in SIR (Statement of Intent to Register)

ScienceLover29ScienceLover29 Registered User Posts: 2 New Member
Hi, I am a newly admitted student and Regents & Chancellor’s Scholar at UC Berkeley. I sent in my SIR (Statement of Intent to Register) last week before Cal Day. When I sent in my SIR, I was never prompted to pay a $250 tuition deposit (which I know is due on May 1st).
Has anyone not been prompted to pay the $250 tuition deposit after sending in their SIR?
Thank You.

I faced the same problem. I tried contacting Registrar office for Cal. The lines were busy and I was not able to talk to anyone. I did not get an email that Cal has received my SIR. I was able to register for housing. Did you find any other way of checking if SIR went through successfully ?
