Class of 2016. Has anyone NOT taken the subject tests and got in?

I devoted my whole summer to study for the SAT for my senior year. Has anyone from the Class of 2016, NOT take the subject tests and still get into UC Davis. I heard it is not required but recommended.

i am assuming you are now in senior year? Im an incoming freshman to uc davis, and i didn't take any SAT subject tests. i took the SAT three times, but scored in the 1700-1800 range, and i still got in.
As of last year (i believe) subject tests aren't needed anymore for most schools; but they do make you look good if you excel in a certain subject.

I didn't take any subject tests. I'd still recommend taking them if there are certain subjects you're especially good at.
