How competitive is getting admitted to the BS in Chemistry in UC Davis? Is it easier to get in there than lets say, Biological Sciences?

Posted this in your other thread:
Since Chemistry is in the College of Letters and sciences, UCD admits by division and not by College as for Biological sciences.
College of Letters and Science admits by division within the college
(Humanities, Arts and Cultural Studies; Mathematics and Physical Sciences; Social Sciences)
Biological sciences is impacted so Chemistry might be a slightly easier admit but you still need to meet UCD standards and being at or above the averages will help your chances.

    UCD Freshman profile:
GPA and test scores of middle 25%-75% students

High School GPA (capped weighted): 3.95 - 4.25
    ACT Composite Score: 26 - 32
    ACT English Language Arts : 24 - 30
    SAT Evidence Based Reading & Writing: 590 - 680
    SAT Mathematics: 600 - 750
    SAT Essay: 15 - 18

What is bad? What is your capped weighted UC GPA? EC’s? HS course rigor?

The SAT essay is required but has much less impact in your chances vs, your SAT Math and EBRW scores. For the UC’s, GPA is king so what is your capped weighted UC GPA and HS course rigor?
