Integrated Studies Honor Program

I got an invitation to join the ISHP, but I need more info before I actually apply to it.

How does it work exactly?

Is it worth joining? If I am planning to go to pharmacy school where my GPA is very important, will joining this give me any advantages/disadvantages?

If I'm going in as an engineering student, but plan to change majors, after the first quarter, will I still be eligible?

One of the things I don't like about it is that I'm going to have to be in a triples room and I really wanted a double. And a Tercero double at that.

Tercero double, try and apply for DHC. They have tercero south to themselves I believe.

Ill let someone else answer your question on ISHP. Search through my posts if you want to see what I have said about it.

Well, if ISHP is worth joining, I can deal with the Segundo triples I guess. But if it's not then..

How nice does it look on your resume when applying to grad/professional school?

Also, if I live in Miller Hall (Segundo North), will I be secluded from the other dorms or can people living in other dorms come in? If it's super anti-social where nobody from outside dorms comes in to visit or do stuff then it doesn't seem too appealing, but is it like the other dorms or not?

Are triples the only option for those in ISHP in Miller Hall? I thought this was only the case last year, with a huge freshman class and many people accepting invitations for ISHP...

You're right, Cyclone. That was only for last year. I called up ISHP at Davis and they say they're reverting back to doubles in Miller Hall this year. Cool. They even told me to specify double occupancy in Segundo when filling out housing.
