My provisional contract at UCD states that I need 90 units:

Complete at least 60 semester or 90 quarter UC transferable units by the end of Spring term 2007 with
an overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.50.
• Remain in good academic standing in your last regular term with at least a 2.00 GPA.

Unfortunately, I was not able to get all the classes that I wanted for Spring 07, so I had to select a 4 unit class instead of a 5 unit class. Now I only have 89 units, and I am afraid of getting rescinded. Based on your experiences or the stories that you have heard, will I get rescinded? If so, is it possible that I bargain to take summer school classes? Because I am taking two at UCLA.

If you haven’t already, please report this through http://myadmissions.ucdavis.edu and include the explanation. Only then would we be able to review the information and the summer school option and reply to you with a decision. Since we review this on each individual situation it is difficult to determine what the outcome will be. Please make sure to be clear that you will be taking courses during the summer session and we will consider that option.
