Hi guys I'm from Michigan and thinkin about going to a UC school possibly but I'm not sure if I meet the eligibility requirements...

I dont have a year of Visual or Performing Arts. Unless Humanities counts?
and I'm just short of the eligibility by examination standards...
M 700 / W 600 / CR 560 (have yet to take the SAT IIs)
I'm ranked 7 of 350 in my class with a 3.93 gpa but I'm not a cal resident so I dont think that matters either :(

Does this mean I'll be rejected from any UC school I apply to?

No, but you might want to email, some UC's to see how they will evaluate you. Some UC's have a fairly standard and open rating system, so applicants can see how they rate compared to current students...you get points for certain scores, certain classes, family situations...look for it on their web site. UC Merced is our newest campus and may be the easiest UC to get into at this point. Cal (Berkeley) UCLA and UCSD might be the hardest. It would be better to contact admissions now than in November.
