My senior son from the NE just came back from a week in southern California (1st time) vacationing with a family friend has fallen in love with California. Earlier in high school he talked a lot about applying to colleges in CA but dropped it. I certainly didn't encourage it. Even though he has been accepted to 2 schools and awaiting responses in April from his 1st and 2nd choice schools, he is talking/dreaming about school in CA. Do any of the schools allow applications this late? I told him he could always write admissions a great letter with his desire and change of mind, and see what they say.9 replies
