Average GPA and SAT scores

I've been looking at UCI as a potential school to apply to after visiting it over the summer.

I'm a junior in high school and have about a 3.6 GPA for 10th-11th, though that should go up after this semester.

I took the SAT back in November without much preparation and scored a 1950, I’m retaking it again on March 10 and I'm confident I can score at least a 2100.

I've heard many horror stories from people applying in the UC system about how you MUST have over a 4.0 GPA and super high SAT scores. So I’m curious to know where I stand compared to students who have been admitted.

Also, though I forgot to put this in the title, does UCI offer any summer programs for highschool students in the areas of research or just taking classes?

Any info would be great. :)
