Chances Please

Hi, im a student a CAPO Valley High School (woohoo go cougars...not really) and was wondering what my chances were at UCI.
My stats are:

Male, Asian
UC GPA - 3.70

SAT1-
Math - 700
Crit. Reading - 690
Writing - 570
Essay - 10

Total - 1960

I got the same exact writing score twice (but improved 100 points in math and crit reading) so I don't think taking the SAT for a 3rd time will improve my writing score. (my spelling/grammar is bad...)

SAT II
MathIIC - 650
US History - 690

I'll retake MathIIC

ECs:
Academic Decathlon Competition Team 2 years
Member of Operation Smile
Volunteered at Doctor (Pediatrician) and Dental offices over the summer
USA Junior Field Hockey Team (U19 Goalie) edit: so I didn't make the US team because they only take 18 yr old goalies, and I wont be 18 for another two years. But I'm on the OC/Phx regional team.
JV Tennis Team
2 Years Escape Magazine Secretary/Treasurer
3 years Key Club
Dental Assistant
Internal Medicine Doctor Assistant
Played the Violin for 5 years

I want to major in Biology :)

Thanks in advance.

If you've taken a good amount of classes, then you should be a shoe in. You're in good shape!

You're in great shape to get into UCI. You're at least 80-90%.

    Thanks guys, I appreciate it.
Jason what do you mean by taken a good amount of classes? Like AP/Honors etc?
  • jas0njas0n Registered User Posts: 1,527 Senior Member
Well, UCI will take into account how many A-G courses you've taken. In this case it's quantity not quality. They don't have to be AP courses, but you need to have completed a lot.
