about SLR and language test

1. hiiiiiii can please anyone tell me your status of SLR?
is everyone's stat still INDETERMINATE??

2. if we've got 800 on SAT chinese test, are we automatically exempt from the foreign language requirement, or do we still have to take the language placement test?

    1. my status is still INDETERMINATE and still being under review
    2. i got 800 too! and i think we dont need to take anything for it... since http://www.students.uci.edu/anteaterzotstart/04UCIGeneralEducationRequirements.php said something about that..

    mine says "Your classification as of 04/20/2008 at 10:37:34 PM is RESIDENT of California for tuition fee purposes." since the beginning

    Im classified as a Resident..was ever since I submitted it awhile ago.
    about the Chinese thing I think you exempt but..not sure. It says:
    Category VI: Language Other Than English

    You may already be done with this requirement, if you completed one of the options below during high school:
    3 years in high school (or equivalent), with a 'C' average or better in the last year
    AP score of 3, 4, or 5 (except Chinese)
    SAT subject test score of 570 or better (Modern Hebrew-score of 500 or better)

    so you should be ok.

    i submitted my SLR really early, like 4/3... so i guess they prbly didn't process those who submitted it early..
