Does anyone know if you can double major with dance and economics at UCLA? Or if you are dance minor are there any performance opportunities?

Do they have a dance minor? I tried doing a search and this list doesn't include dance: https://catalog.registrar.ucla.edu/ucla-catalog19-20-6.html

To my knowledge, there is no dance minor at UCLA. You can double major but I would look into seeing if the 2 programs have overlapping course requirements to ease some of the burdens. You just have to petition the school about wanting to double major. I will say that from what we were told by admissions counselor is that if we are looking to graduate in 4 years with double major you are looking at 20 unit quarters.

You’d be looking at around 210 quarter credits compared to the regular 180. But if you have a 5 in AP Calc BC, and a 4 or 5 in Micro and Macro Econ, that will get you out of 4 courses (Math 31A/31B and Econ 1/2) and make your life much easier. Econ is one of the most generous majors in terms of allowing AP credit to apply to core courses.

Doing four courses per quarter isn’t too bad, though being able to register for the exact lower division ones you need in second pass is sometimes more challenging (first pass just gets you two courses, so you’d then need to register for two more in second pass rather than one).
