Easy to get into full classes??

AnalgesiaAnalgesia Registered User Posts: 27 New Member
For 2nd-4th year students at UCLA, how easy is it to get into courses that are full with full waitlists? Do many people eventually drop out by the 2nd week, allowing others to get in?

Will the professor let you enroll even if there isn't enough room?

Thanks.

It really depends. Try contacting the prof, since each one does it differently. Some will hand out PTE numbers before or during the first day of class.

Waitlists clear by the end of second week, but the majority of drops will occur during first week. Some classes, like large math classes, will keep the waitlist because they know a large number will drop after midterms
