I'm confused here. I got an email yesterday about the insurance and some options, but I don't know what to do. Which insurance is the best to get?

I got that email as well. I'm wondering how to waive the insurance.

If you are an undergrad you have 3 choices
    1.) USHIP Basic (no dental)
    2.) USHIP Plus (with dental)
3.) Waive SHIP and use your own health insurance

As said in the e-mail the SHIP waiver will be up June 1 and you'll find the link on at the student health website on that date.

Personally, if you have your own insurance, waive it. It's not that great here, ironically, for a school known for its hospital and stuff. -_-

What about international students, is that compulsory for internationals provided we don't have any.

You can't attend UCLA without some form of insurance.
