Should I double major with these two Biology majors?

isurfblacksisurfblacks 12 replies3 threads Junior Member
I am a new incoming transfer student at UCSD and have taken on the Marine Biology B.S. degree program. I have noticed that the job market for this major is extremely competitive and doesn't have a robust entry level job market. My goal is to be able to land some type of job in the field of biology come post grad and am considering double majoring in Microbiology since the field interests me and there are much more opportunities with an undergrad degree. I am passionate about marine biology and biology as a whole so pursuing both doesn't seem like a daunting task. I am more so wondering if this would be worth it for what I am trying to achieve.

Thanks
