    I've never lived/been in the Marshall apts, but I hear uppers are better. Closer to class and not an uphill walk for the most part (exceptions: center and warren lecture hall). Closer to rimac too, and not in the forest. to me, they look more spacious and more welcoming too, but i'm sure the sqftage is about the same.

    I prefer uppers.

    i've been to both. the lowers have a downstairs living room and single and two rooms upstairs so it's easy to hang out without bothering upstairs people too much. the uppers are only one story but they're also closer to OVT. if you're the type that likes to grab food late at night, choose the uppers.
