Currently an in-state senior, asian female attending a high school in the bay area planning on majoring in biology.

UC GPA - 4.13
SAT - 1390
AP Scores: Ap Bio - 4, AP Lang - 4

Course Rigor (throughout high school) - AP Biology, AP Calculus, AP Psychology, AP Environmental Science, AP English Language, Biology Honors, Chemistry Honors, Physics Honors, Advanced Vocals Honors


- Extensive and continuous volunteer-work with a company in Vietnam as an English mentor leading groups of local and international participants to rural areas of Vietnam to teach youth English and other academic skills
- US Ambassador for Vietnam Summer Program where I was selected to represent US and spoke on television/radio shows about my experiences as a Vietnamese-American, and also spent time doing more volunteer work around Vietnam
- Manager at my part-time job
- Member of advanced vocals honors group at high school and sang in honor choirs around bay area
- Robotics team captain for 2 years

I'd say my essays are pretty good as well since I had an editor work with me on it.

    High Match around 50/50. Your stats put you about average for the overall campus. Your essays and EC’s are what will differentiate you from the rest of the applicants but nothing you have done is really major related. Why Biology and what is your end goal?
