UCSC - dropping course

Ant29924Ant29924 1 replies1 threads New Member
Failed PreCalculus and decided to do an online math course to make up for it. I got accepted into UCSC engineering school anyways. Problem is, pandemic is making it nearly impossible to complete this course. I have to submit transcripts of all courses I attempt in order to maintain eligibility. I don't know what to do. I want to drop the course, but I don't know if my acceptance will be canceled if I do so. I will have completed A-G's 3 year math requirement and 4 year recommendation

Contact UCSC admissions and find out what your options are at this point before dropping. When did you Fail the Pre-Calculus course and did you list the repeat course as in-progress when you submitted your application?

They told me to fill out a form, and will let me know in 2 weeks. I listed the repeat course in progress.
