U of Chicago off-campus interview

I haven't requested an interview and am wondering if I should...
I have a feeling that the application doesn't really present myself well enough. On the other hand, I'm afraid that I will become really nervous during the interview and give a bad impression to the university.

Should I request one? For those who took the interview, or know anything about it, what was it like??

Any suggestions??
