I applied for housing back in January and I got an email saying I can request a loft but if i do this will it change my line up for my request for housing?

No.You are assigned a room first. Then crews go around to loft the beds of the students who request it.

How much clearance is there above the bed when it is lofted? I get claustrophobic in tight spaces. Would this be too close to the ceiling?
