Admissions Decisions

I thought last year decisions were released a lot earlier than december 16!

Am I crazy?

    No, you're not crazy. They haven't released ANY decisions yet?

    Last year, my high school senior son sent in his application mid-to-late September and he was accepted in the first wave of students that were, which was around the 1st week of October. He then made his housing request a couple of days before Thanksgiving, and he heard which dorm he got into sometime in May.

    I just went to the CU website, and it appears that they have changed the process and moved the deadlines back. The application process actually opens up TODAY (October 28th) and here are the posted deadlines to apply for Fall 2009 registration:

    Early action December 15
    Notified by Feb. 15

    Regular decision February 15
    Notified by April 1

    I could very well be wrong, but I BELIEVE this year is CU's first year off the rolling admission process.
