First, should i use my 30 on my ACT or take the SAT's again and try to get a better score than i have? (1860, almost positive i can do better than this).
Second, when is the earliest someone can know if they got in?

everyone, regardless of application date, finds out on the same date in mid-february.

and i'd retake the sat before worrying about your act. act is good, sat is below average for admissions.

Actually, they use the higher score from either SAT or ACT, and a 30 ACT is very strong for UF admissions. It's right in the middle of the middle half.

Re-taking either the ACT or SAT can only improve your chances.

Not if it results in a lower score
