School doesn't offer AP classes, but I took all my classes junior and senior year through a dual-enrollment program at a nearby college, and was in the honors program (I completed extra projects with professors for honors credits-noted on college transcript) and honors society.

-Selected to be on staff as media team for next summer
-Elected Alumni Media Director

Essay: talked about my experience as a girl football player and the obstacles and such I had to overcome to not only play the sport but be successful and accepted by my teammates.

    An update for any students applying in the future!

    I got accepted with a $9,000/Year scholarship from the college of media. Qualified to be a James Scholar (there's no scholarship or anything for it, just you do extra projects and get priority class choosing etc.). Still haven't heard back on financial aid or scholarships from entire university yet. Best of luck to all future applicants! :)
