Freshman Forgiveness

I took a class last semester and got a D in it, and was planning to retake it next semester. However it can't fit into my schedule and my friend told me you have to take it within a year for it to count as freshman forgiveness. Is this true? I just can't fit it in next semester without taking classes at night monday through thursday.

that's not true, you can retake a course taken within your first 24 credits at any time!

Might be wrong, but 24 credits = 1 yr for a full time student, so if it is the 1st 24 credits it would be 1 yr, or less. DS never carried less than 19 per semester.

^Never less than 19?! Geez, that must be super difficult. I assume he's double majoring? I'm never going to need to take more than 15-16, and there's actually a semester I can take 12 and my last one I'll take 13. I'd be afraid of taking 19 for one semester, let alone every one lol.
