Dormitory for College Park Scholars

Our son was admitted to the UMD College Park Scholars program. If he chooses to live in a dormitory, will he live with other College Park Scholars? And is the dormitory residency required to be a participant in the program?

@DeMaRo - There are 12 different Scholars Programs.

The following link has more info

    https://scholars.umd.edu/programs

Each one has an associated dorm Depending on which one of the 12 your son is in, if he decides to live on campus, he would be assigned to that dorm.

In general, Freshmen do not get to select the dorm that they want.
